Running Groups & Races

Weekly runs are the same in all locations:

Wednesday, 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, 8:00 a.m.

In all of these runs speed and distance varies. However, during specific training periods a coach will be there to not only lead the practice, but provide some advice on your training program.

SPECIAL SUNDAY MYSTERY MILES RUN, OLD SAYBROOK ONLY

Sunday, 7:00 a.m.


We have a new group run at our Old Saybrook soundRUNNER location on Sunday's at 7 a.m. Benny Flott will be leading this run along with other soundRUNNER staff and friends.

Here is additional info from Benny:

BENNY’S mystery miles funnnn run on Sunday mornings.  emphasis is on fun and no expectations for anything but a moving tan (wear sunscreen).  start at soundrunner at 7 a.m. with options to run around (individually) at OS point for a 4 miler, at maple avenue for a 6.5ish miler, old boston post rd for an 8.5ish miler or sticking to the end for a ? miler (at least 2 to 4 extra miles).  water at the point, at knollwood and at the town beach. pace is slow and steady (conversational) with emphasis on enjoying the morning while getting in a good (or great) run. hope to see more people this week.
